ionCORE™ combines a stable controlled source of RF energy within a compact discharge chamber to produce an intense light emitting plasma. This small light source can be accurately positioned in a precisely designed optical environment to deliver as much light as possible to a target area. The compact and versatile form factor, with a dose that can be tailored to different spectral outputs, makes this a potential solution for several horticulture applications.


Our latest UV grow-light demonstrates this flexibility. Its unique spectrum, concentrated in the 280 - 550 nm range, delivers UV-B, UV-A and blue-light. The UV-B is vital for plants helping to optimise taste and nutritional and medicinal values, and it can help sterilise grow-rooms. Applied post-harvest, UV-B can also prolong the freshness of produce.
